Physical aggression: The act of using physical force to cause harm to the victim, such as punching, slapping, pushing or injuring. This type of violence damages physical integrity and can cause emotional trauma.
Moral Harassment: Form of abusive behavior with repetitive attacks through rude and inappropriate words or gestures, malicious comments, prejudiced or discriminatory insults, bullying, intimidation, humiliation, rumors, inappropriate jokes or any other action that causes psychological or emotional harm to the victim.
Sexual Harassment: It happens when a person feels embarrassed by another person who seeks to obtain sexual advantage or favor, or who exposes them to an unwanted sexual context. This may occur through inappropriate sexual advances, inappropriate comments, or lewd remarks. It also includes the promise or offer of employment, promotion, remuneration or preferential treatment in exchange for sexual favors. Additionally, it covers inappropriate or unsolicited touching, as well as the dissemination or sharing of images, objects or materials of an obscene nature.
Discrimination: Statements or actions that are based on ethnicity, origin, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, union membership, political or ideological conviction, social class, disability status, marital status or age, and that are based on or influence decisions related to the employee's employment, promotions, or compensation.
Inappropriate People Management: Statements or actions by managers that do not have the nature of harassment, but that violate Scala's Code of Conduct and that are understood as incompatible with the workplace.
Conflict of interest: Occurs when someone acts, influences or makes decisions in a partial way, driven by interests that are not aligned with those of Scala. This can be motivated by different relationships, activities carried out inside and outside the company and actions that aim to benefit oneself or third parties.
Corruption: Occurs when someone offers, promises, grants or authorizes favors or benefits, directly or indirectly, with the aim of influencing a decision, obtaining an undue advantage or securing business, which can occur in both public and private spheres.
Fraud or theft of Money: Any intentional action carried out to obtain unfair or illegal personal advantage, including manipulation of accounting records, adjustments to variable remuneration indicators, fraud in travel expenses, falsification of medical certificates, distortions in contractual measurements, granting favors undue, among others.
Other illicit activities: Any criminal activity that occurs on the company's premises or that affects its assets.
