Through it, you can report, 100% anonymously, irregularities that do not comply with our values and the laws, helping us to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

How does it work?

The Channel is third-party, managed by Contato Seguro, an independent and impartial company.

The tool is available 24/7.

The phone service is provided by specialized psychologists, who receive the report and send the information for analysis, investigation, and resolution.

Will my identity be preserved?

Yes! The whole report receiving is carried out by Contato Seguro, an entirely exempt organization, with no type of connection with the company.

Your identity will not be revealed under any circumstances.
Anonymity and confidentiality of information are guaranteed.
You will be 100% protected against any retaliation.
Your phone number or your computer's IP will not be identified.

What kind of cases can i report through the channel?

You can and must report any attitude inconsistent with the laws or our Whistleblowing Channel's Policy. Check out the examples:

Do i need evidence?

No. However, the presentation/indication of evidence will make the evaluation of your report more assertive, increasing the chances of success in the analyses.

Based on your report, Contato Seguro will forward the information to an Ethics Committee, which will begin the investigation and deal with the report correctly. Measures will be taken only after the irregularity is verified.

If you have any evidence, the system allows you to attach any file (such as photos, videos, audio, etc.).
If via telephone, the specialist will explain how to send the evidence.

Who receives the reports over the phone?

You do not have any risk of having your voice or situation identified, revealed, or leaked by anyone.

Under no circumstances will our company or the committee responsible for the investigation know who made the anonymous report through the Channel.

How can i track my report?

When making a report, a protocol will be generated. To track the progress, follow these steps:

1. Go to the website www.contatoseguro.com.br/timbrasil

2. Select the option “Check Answer”.

3. Enter the number. If the complaint was made over the phone, the specialist would inform the protocol number! Write down the number so you can track later.

It is possible that the committee requests more information about the report, through messages that can only be accessed through the protocol number.

What laws/corporate commitments are observed by the Whistleblowing Channel?

The Whistleblowing Channel is a specific and official communication channel from TIM, Inc., for internal and external target groups to share reports about events of corruption, bribery, fraud, moral and sexual harassment, possible accounting irregularities or improprieties, or any other issues accounting-wise, audit matters, corporate conduct in violation of consumer rights, and those related to internal controls, standards, policies, ethics, human rights and the environment. This space was created to strengthen the foundations of corporate governance through transparency, as well as observe:

The United States of America legislation, Sarbanes-Oxley Act/2002, to which TIM, Inc. is subject as a company registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission – SEC, with shares listed through an ADR program on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
CVM Instruction 509, which regulates the activities of the Statutory Audit Committee, establishing the need for a channel to receive complaints.
Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA); and The Brazilian Anti-Corruption Law (Law no. 12,846/2013), regulated by Decree no. 8,420/2015.
Code, laws, and regulations associated with consumer law.
Brazilian laws, norms, and codifications of the various arms of Law, such as: Civil, Constitutional, Labor, Tax, among others.

Who is responsible for managing complaints?

The report is received by the company Contato Seguro. Systemically, Contato Seguro forwards such report to the Whistleblowing Channel which is managed by Audit.

Audit will consider each case individually, proceeding with the detailed investigation of the information in each process. If necessary, Audit will forward the complaint to the company's competent area, monitoring the analysis until their conclusion.

Is the whistleblower subject to any type of retaliation/punishment for having made a complaint?

No. On the contrary. TIM, Inc. does not tolerate any type of threat or retaliation against a person for raising concerns in good faith. The objective of the Whistleblowing Channel is to facilitate the identification of irregularities that may exist in the company, which disagree with the laws, ethical standards, and conduct.

Reporting suspected misconduct in good faith will not result in any negative action against you (such as harassment or loss of benefits). This protection also extends to anyone providing information or cooperating in a subsequent investigation.

What can be expected after making the report?

TIM takes all reports of possible misconduct very seriously. All investigations will be carried out with care, confidentiality, and professionalism. If it is determined that the misconduct has indeed occurred, our company will take appropriate action.

Is it possible for the whistleblower to enter new information and/or complement a report made and which is under review?

Yes, it is possible. The whistleblower should go to > Track your complaint > Complementary information > Send response.
