What is the Ethics Channel?

It is a secure and confidential communication channel that allows the reception of reports about situations involving ethical or conduct deviations, irregularities in relation to the institution's guidelines, as well as the reception of questions and suggestions. Accessible to all parties related to FDC, the Ethics Channel is managed by Contato Seguro, a third-party company that acts transparently, independently, and impartially.

What type of cases can I report?

You can and should report any attitude that is not aligned with legislation or with the Code of Conduct - the FDC's Code of Ethics. We know that ethical or conduct deviations can affect the organization, and to avoid these situations, it is important that we can identify, investigate, and resolve cases involving, for example:

Moral or sexual harassment;
Discrimination, fraud, conflicts of interest, and other situations of ethical conduct deviations;
Non-compliance with the Code of Conduct - The FDC's Code of Ethics, processes, internal rules, and laws, among others.

Why does our institution need an Ethics Channel?

In addition to applicable laws, FDC has a Charter of Coexistence – our Code of Ethics, which guides the expected behavior of all our stakeholders. However, we recognize that situations contrary to these principles may occur.

Therefore, we have the Ethics Channel, a fundamental tool of FDC's Integrity and Compliance Program.

Through it, you can report behavior that is not aligned with our values or the law, either identifiably or anonymously, contributing to the construction and maintenance of an ethical, safe, and transparent environment.

How does it work?

The Ethics Channel is outsourced, managed by Contato Seguro, an independent company that acts impartially. If you identify or become aware of any irregularity:

Access contatoseguro.com.br/fdc;
Or call toll-free 0800 512 5599 and make your report;
The tool is available 24/7;
The service is provided by specialized professionals who receive the report and send the information for analysis, investigation, and resolution.

The reception of the report is 100% confidential, preserving individuals who wish to make an anonymous report.

What information should I provide when making a report?

When registering your report, whenever possible, include:

Full name or identification of those involved;
Area/sector/location where the event occurred;
Approximate dates and times;
Objective description of what happened;
If you have them, forward documents, screenshots, or evidence that can support the investigation.

Will my identity be protected?

Yes! Identity protection is one of the fundamental principles of the Ethics Channel. You can make the report identified or anonymously. In both cases, the content of the report is treated with confidentiality and security, following ethical and technical criteria to prevent any type of retaliation, exposure, or harm to the reporter.

Who is responsible for investigating the reports?

Reports are received by Contato Seguro's specialized team, which performs an initial screening to understand the nature of the situation and possible conflicts of interest. After this analysis, Contato Seguro directs the report to the responsible Committee, which will determine the investigation methodology according to the complexity of the report.

What is the timeframe for investigating a report?

Each report has a particular investigation effort. Therefore, there is no defined deadline, but we are committed to conducting quick investigations, with reports to the complainant, when possible and necessary, analyzing each case with seriousness, confidentiality, and impartiality.

How to follow up on my report?

When making a report, a protocol will be generated. To follow up on the progress, the reporter must:

1. Access the website contatoseguro.com.br/FDC;
